Great Showcase video of current progress on the MIT Hermes Robot. Designed for remote operation via an exo suit from up to a kilometre away. Hermes hopes to get humans out of harms way in hazerdous situations like fires, Nuclear reactors and mining.
Very impressive levels of agility and tactile feedback so the remote operator can adjust balance and force.
